About Ram

Despite being just ten years old, the RAM brand puts 100 years of expertise into every vehicle it produces.
RAM originated as Dodge’s truck division, which began making trucks in 1917. Despite being bought by Chrysler in 1928, Dodge was still permitted to operate under its own identity. However, the RAM brand didn’t arrive until 1981 on a revamped Power RAM that replaced the renowned D-series Dodge Pickup Trucks. It was initially exclusive to Dodge’s series of light trucks. However, the company has expanded to include other, heavier lines.
As a result of Fiat’s 2009 purchase of Chrysler, RAM was separated off as a separate brand. Dodge would, therefore, let the latter better concentrate on developing and selling a portfolio that is only comprised of automobiles. RAM could focus on producing durable, excellent towing capacity and reasonably priced light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and vans.
